ENGRecreation Base "Silmači" is located in Launkalne municipality, Smiltene district.
When heading down the Rīga - Veclaicene Highway and taking the right turn at the 117 km mark, and then traveling for 6 km until reaching Lizdole Lake, you will end up in a heavenly nature site where we have established a beloved recreational base with vast range of services.
The recreational base’s 13 camping houses, 10 hotel rooms and bout house (3 rooms) can house 175 persons; whereas our area (10 ha) is capable of welcoming events with as many as 1,500 participants.
Camping houses
12 well-furnished houses with 6 beds, 4 additional beds, shower, WC, kitchen (stove, refrigerator, dishes for 6 persons).
1 house with no shower and WC, 13 beds.
Bout house with 3 rooms (with no shower and WC). Room 1 – 6 beds, Room 2 – two levels with 7 beds, Room 3 – 7 beds.
Sports fields and courts allow our visitors to play football, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, tennis, badminton, as well as to organize track and field athletics events in the stadium (using inventory rented at the recreational base).
The sauna’s fireplace hall can welcome up to 25 persons, but sauna rooms – up to 25 persons at the same time.
The hall of the central building can house banquets. It is also used for organizing seminars.
Recreational base “Silmači” provides catering services during events or on daily bases as requested by a client.
Clients are welcome to park their cars in our asphalted parking lots, but trailer houses – in locations with electricity outlets and bonfire sites.
